was elected High Chaplain of the High Court of•the Canadian.
Foresters for the Dominion of Canada at a recent meeting
held in Hotel Vancouver, Vancouver, B.C.
Approximately 250 delegates from across Canada met in
Hotel Vancouver for the by-annual meeting. Delegates and
visitors attending from this district along with Rev. McDonald
were Mr.. and Mrs. Wilfred Strickler of R,R.#2, Brussels,
Mr. and mrp. Ken Hulley of Londesborough, Jim Jamieson
and Oliver Anderscin of H.R.#1,, Londesborough, Mr. and Mrs.
Alvin 'Voll of Listowel and. Mr., and Mrs. Jamieson Raley •
Goderich.
Mr. McDonald is at present Chief Ranger of Court Atwood, •
Canadian Foresters, on the Huron District Council and Chaplain
for the Ontario Assembly of the Canadian ForesterS. He is the
son of Mr. and 'Mrs. Carl McDonald of Ethel and, a brother of
Mrs. Cheiter Earl of Ethe 1. and Mrs. Norman Coghlin of '.

During the meeting of the High Court a, cheque for over
$55,280 was presented to the Canadian Cancer Society for
Cancer Research.

News of Huronview
Everyone enjoyed another visit on Monday afternoon by
the "THE BAND". This group has been able to provide a
variety of selections with five wind instruments, drums,
electric, organ and a soloist.
Eight tables of euchre and crokinole were played at the
games on Wednesday afternoon.
"Family Night" was held in the Auditorium this week
with Albert Craig of Hayfield and Becky Howes of Clinton
sharing the Program. All of the entertainers provided
their own. accompaniment with, Albert Craig playing the
guitar and singing several familiar tunes and requests.
Becky Howes with her accordion led a sing-a-long of old
favourites dividing them in groups to suit everyone's fancy
such as Scottish, Irish and war songs.. Following the
entertainment Harvey Bryans, of Brussels, a new resident,
was welcomed to the "Home".
Plans are being made to start our fourth year of programs
and we would appreciate a ,callfrorn individuals or groups of
volunteers or entertainers.

Guide. The meeting closed with

Knox Church on Sunday morning.
