Listowel points put that the town has always been conscious regarding pollution and for this reason, has carried out extensive I improvements ,to its facilities in! the past. It has studies under- way at present for further addi- tions, all in co-operation with the' Ministry of the Environment. Plans are underway to hold "Open House" at the lagoon.site on Thursday afternoon, August 16th, between the hours of 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. The public is invited. Arrangements have been fina- lized for bus service to anyone needing transportation. Details are contained in an advertisement in this ,issue. A complete tour around the • lagoons will be conducted, fol- lowed with refreshments on the site and Ministry-of the Environ- ment staff as well as members of Listowel Council will be on. hand to explain the operation.
