One night recently, flowers in bloom were deli- berately pulled up by the roots from planters and strewn on the ground at, at least, two homes ' in the village. It is bad enough doing such a thing on the pro- perty of anyone' who has tried to beautify their home with flowers but when they pick on a semi- invalid lady, living alone, who had expended -a good deal of energy to have flowers, it was a shameful performance. It is time youngsters wiretatight con- sideration of others. Would they dare to do.such things at home?
