duet by Sharon and Roseanne Engel with the ',Brussels
Stompers" rhythm band playing and singing several old
favourites. members of the band are wilma Hemingway,

“Mothers Old Kitchen Apron". The celebrants were
presented with a gift and the appreciation of residents was
extended to the ladies by Mrs. Mary Johnston who cele-

lemonade were served to one hundred and fifty residents
and guests by the institute members who made' a tour of the
building to visit with residents from their area.
The Rhythm Band from Goderich Phsychiatric Hos-

provided the Family Night program. Shorty Munro was

impressions of the bag pipes and Hawaiian guitar. The
band played a number of old selections and dances. This

September.

In the account last week of
those who , provided enter-

because they were not ap-

oversight. The skirl of the

a welcome sound on any occasion
as the swirl of the kilts areas
attractive addition to any scene.

what fun can anyone, young or
not so young, get out of yanking
flowers out? One night recently,
flowers in bloom were deli-
berately pulled up by the roots
from planters and strewn on the
ground at, at least, two homes
' in the village. It is bad enough
doing such a thing on the pro-
perty of anyone' who has tried to
beautify their home with flowers
but when they pick on a semi-
invalid lady, living alone, who
had expended -a good deal of
energy to have flowers, it was
a shameful performance. It is
time youngsters wiretatight con-
sideration of others. Would they
dare to do.such things at home?
