Brussels United Church was
the setting of the marriage of
Kimberly George' and Murray
Bremner on Saturday, July 14th.
Mr. and Mrs. Alex George
of London are parents of the
bride and the groom's parents
are Mr. and Mrs. Wm. C.
Bremner of Brussels.
The wedding ceremony was
performed by Rev. Eric LeDrew,
minister of the United Church.
The bride, given in marriage
by her father was dressed in a
gown of daisy lace over polyester
silk, fashioned with long, full
lace sleeVes and high neckline,
with blue trim on front. Her
- GEORGE
floor- length veil edged with
lace , was held by a coronet.
Her bridal flowers were red
,roses and shasta daisies. -
The bride's attendant was
Mrs. Jeff Williamson of London.
The best man was Robert
Bremner, R.R. 3, Brussels,
brother of the groom.
Guests were, ushered by.
Bradley Speiran and Michael
George,
A lawn reception and dinner
was held at the home of Mr.
and Mrs. Wm. Bremner.
The couple will reside at
18 Holland Street, St., Thomas,
Ont. .

News of Huronview
Despite the cool wind of.Monday afternoCm, many
of the residents were able to enjoy the Band Concert
at the second story windows with about 60 others on
the west lawn,
The regular "Family Night" program was held
on Tuesday evening this week tp accommodate a visit
by a group of young musicians from ,the Toronto area,
These young people are working under a Government
sponsored program, Music Concepts Workshop, and have
entertained a variety of audiences in. South Western Ontario,
members of the band are Mike Ross, Bob MeNiven, Ian
MacDougall, Vince Brady, Jack Welbloon-i, and Mike Burn-
, stein. •
Nineteen residents attended the Octogenarian picnic
and program at the Anglican Parish Hall at Goderich on
'Wednesday, Everyone reports a most enjoyable afternoon
with the McMillan Family,. talents from the Goderich
Psychiatric Hospital and others providing the program
followed *by refreshments and a social hour. Mrs. Mary
Johnson, 99, and Mr. Walter Kingswell, 95, of the Home
are the eldest lady and gentlemen, members but just
didn't feel able for the trip. Many thanks go to those
responsible for the get together as well as the gentle-
men who provided the transportation.

groomsman and Cees Van
Ingersoll and Arie Muilwyk*;
Hamilton were ushers. The or-
ganist, Mr. Lane Hazlewood,
played traditional wedding music.
Following the ceremony, a
reception was held at Noah's Ark
in' 'the Hillcrest Restaurant,
Hamilton. The bride's aunt, Mrs.
Vera Stirling received guests
wearing a floor length fitted
crimpolene dress with long
'sleeves and a corsage of white
carnations. The groom's mother
assisted, wearing a floor length
fitted purple crimpolene dress
with long sleeves and a white
gardenia corsage.
Guests were present from the
Netherlands, Scotland, Brussels,
Ancaster, Ingersoll, Aylmer, St.
Thomas and the area surrounding
Hamilton.
For a honeymoon to the areat
Lakes the bride wore a floor
length dress in navy 'floral print
crepe. Mr. and Mrs. Muilwyk
will reside in Hamilton.
In Binkley United Church,
Hamilton, on July 14, at
Luke Muilwyk. and Barbara
Morrison were united in
Marriage by Dr. Hazlewood. The
bride is the daughter of the late
Mr. and Mrs. Howard Morrison,
Hamilton, and the groom is the
son of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Muil-
wyk, R.R. 4, Brussels.
The church• was decorated
with white and pink carnations and
the bride was escorted down the_
aisle by her Uncle, Mr. Harry
Stirling. She wore a gown of
empire style floor length
polyester satin with wide Sheer,
embossed sleeves and a shoulder
length veil and carried a bOuquet
of pink rosebuds and carnations.
Her matron of honour,
Mrs. • Carol Denford, Hamilton,
and bridesmaids Cathy McGill,
AncaSter and Barbara Muilwyk,
R.R. 4, Brussels, wore floor
length dresSeS of pink polyester
crepe with empire waists and
carried daisy and baby's breath
bouquets.

Patricia Lynn ,Machan,
daughter of Mrs. Violet Machan,
Brussels, and Mr. John Kenneth
Mathers, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Charles Mathers, Buevale, were
united fn marriage by Rev. E.L.
LeDrew in a double-ring cere-
mony, Friday, • July 6th at
7 p.m. in Brussels United Church.
Floral arrangements of red
carnations, white mums, daisies
and sprigs of baby's breath dec-
orated the Church with white
satin bows on the guest pews.
The bride was give-Win
marriage by her eldest brother,
Clarence of Kitchener. The
bridal gown of white shimmering
lioda featured a fitted waist-
line falling into a chapel train.
The dress bodice was trimmed in
re-embroidered ribbon-lace, in
Victorian style . The bride's
veil of baby's .net was held by a
chapel cap. She carried a
bouquet of red and white roses..
Miss Anne Machan, sister
of the bride, was maid of honour
and bridesmaids were Mrs.
Dianne Bennett, sister of the
bride and Miss. Joyce Taylor,
friend of the bride. They were
gowned alike, in floor-length
dresses, of white chiffon with
tiers• of chantilly lace on long
bishop sleeves and red and white
flowered pattern empire-waisted
skirts. The attendants carried
white lace parasols and wore
corsages of red carnations.
The flower girl, Debbie
Campbell, of R.R.#1, Dublin,
niece of the groom, wore a floor-
length gown of white swiss dot
and carried a white lace parasol.
Rae Mathers, brother of the
groom, was groomsman and
guests were ushered by Robert
Mathers, brother of the groom
and Lawrence Machan, brother
of the bride. They all wore
black and white tuxedos with red
ruffled shirts and black bow ties.
James Robinson, nephew of
the bride, was ringbearer. He
carried a white pillow trimmed
with white satin •eibbon.
Mrs. Grace . Campbell and.
Mrs. Ruth Townsend, sisters of
the groom, sang "The Twelfth
of Never" and "Love Story".
They were accorripanied by Mrs.
John Bryans, organist.
The bride's mother received
the guests Wearing a floor-length
gown of pink and white polyester
accented by a corsage of white
mums and pink sweetheart roses.
She was assisted 'by the groom's
mother who wore a floor-length
gown of yellow polyester with
white and yellow trim, accented
with a corsage of white tntirriS
arid yellow sweetheart roses.
Following the wedding cere-
motiY, a reception was held at the
Brussels Legion with music by

Pot travelling to Niagara and
area, the bride chose a blue
and white pant Suit,
On their return,- the couple
are residing in Bluevale.
