Eilften Eva Glanville, daugh-
ter of Mr. and Mrs. John Glanville
R.R. 4, Walton, became the bride
of Neil Donald ward, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Jim ward of Seaforth
in a double ring ceremony, pei=
formed by pastors Austin Gethke
of Exeter and Leslie Hoy of
Goderich in the Pentecostal
Church, Clinton on May 18th. It
was a candlelight ceremony, with
lily of the valley, daisies and
roses decorating the church.
The bride, given in marriage
by her father was lovely in a
floor length, empire-waisted
gown of white crimpelene, with
a high ruffle neck and leg o'
mutton sleeves. Her train was
of sheer lace covered with spark-
ling daisies. She had her hair
adorned with daisies and a liara..
The bouquet the bride carried
was a cascade of roses, daisies
and lily of the valley.
' Mrs. Ruth Arsendult of Sea-
forth, sister of the groom was
the matron?! honor, wearing a
floorlength gown of pink with a
silver bolero. The bridesmaid,
sister of the bride was Miss Mar-
lene Glanville who wore a floor
length gown of blue, with a silver
correspondent
Mrs. Mac Engel
Miss Kate. McNabb, was a
patient in Wingham Hospital for
several days.
' Carman Smith underwent sur-
gery in Listowel Hospital re-
cently. •
Mr. and Mrs. Winston
McEachern and daughters, Cam-
bridge spent the Weekend with
Mr. and Mrs. Wes McEachern.
Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Huehn,
Conestoga., visited Mrs. Calvin
Cameron. and Miss Emylene.
Steiss.
Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Engel
and faxhily and Mr. and Mrs.
Doug Evans and family spent the
holiday weekend at Sandusky,
* hio.
Ralph Noble and Lorne
bolero. Both gowns being similar
to the bridOsthey carried baskets
of white and pink carnations with
lily of the valley.
Lyle Ward, brother of the
groom, was 'the groomsman and
the guests were ushered by Wayne
Ward, brother of the groom,
Ron Hoy and Gary Hoy.
The soloist Bob watt of
Goderich was accompanied by
Ray Faulkner on the piano.
The reception was held at the.
Orange Hall in Seaforth. The
bride's mother received the
guests in 'a blue dress of
crimpelene with ' white trim,
wearing navy accessories and
a pink corsage. The groom's
mother wore a brown dress of
crimpeline with white accesories
and an orange corsage.
For their honeymoon to New
York the bride changed into blue
plaid pants and a pink blazer
with white accesories. •
The couple will reside , at
R.R. 4, Walton. Guests were pre-
sent from Mitchell., Harriston,
Crediton, Goderich, Durham,
Russelldale, Brussels and Lis-
towel.
' Cameron, London , visited on Sun-
day with friends in Hanover.
" Weekend visitors with Mr. and
Mrs. Earl Dunn were Mr. and
Mrs. Bill Muchan, London,
Archie Campbell, London, and
Mr. and Mrs. Elwood Struthers,
Newry.
Mr. and Mrs. John Hinchley,
Owen Sound, Harry Ilitichley„
Renfrew, and Mrs. W. Broadfoot,
Walton, visited Mrs. Mac Engel.

Kerry, Kitchener, visited Mrs.
Melvin Becker on the 'weekend,
MrS. Ed. Giessler ) Fraser,
Mich. is spending a week with
her sister, Miss Martha Jeschke.
The altar of St. Ambrose
Catholic Church in Brussels was
beautifully decorated with
candelabra intertwined with
coloured mums, tiny pink, rose-
buds and shasta daisies for the
twilight wedding of Evelyn
Eileen, elder daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. George Haggitt of Blyth,
and James George, son of Mr.
and Mrs. George Blake of R.L#2,
Brussels.
' The wedding ceremony was
performed by Rev. Father M. S.
Kaminski..
Mrs. Cheryl Cronin of Blyth
was soloist and sang "Amazing
Grace", "Walk Hand in Hand",
"0 Perfect Love"' and "thou
Art My Own". The organist
was Mrs. Grace Brown of Blyth.
Given in marriage by her
father, the bride looked lovely in
a floor-length gown,of white poly-
ester crepe made in empire style
with embroidered net lace bodice
and long lace sleeIes. Her tiara
set with rhinestones held the
shoulder length three-tiered
veil and her flowing train was of
lace lined with polyester crepe.
She carried a colonial cascade of
multi-coloured stephanotis,
shasta daisies and tiny pink rose-
buds interwined with white velvet
ribbon.
The maid of honor was Miss
Carolyn Haggitt, sister of the
bride. She wore a flowered blue
floor-length gown of primeo chif-
fon made in empire style with
blue velvet sash. The brides=
maids, Mrs. Agnes Wharton,
friend of the bride and Misses
Joyce and Julie Blake, sisters
of the groom wore similar
flowered dresses in shades• of
yellow and pink, all with velVet
sashes. They carried baskets,
of shasta daisies and coloured
mums and wore tiny' rosebuds
of matching colours in their hair.
The best man was Phil Blake,
brother of the groom, and the
ushers were Gordon Haggitt, Jack
Wharton and Bruce Blake.
After the wedding the bridal
party and guests returned to
Blyth Memorial Hall, for the
reception. Receiving the guests
was the bride's mother dressed
in a blue flowered floor-length
nylon gown with which she wore
a corsage of miniature white and
pink carnations and the groom's
mother who wore a flowered poly-
ester floor-length', dress with
plain rose top. Her corsage
was miniature white and yellow
carnations.
Following the reception, the
happy couple left for a honey-
moon in Northern Ontario. They
will reside on the groom's farm
in Morris Township. .
Guests were present from
Sarnia, London, Toronto, Han-
over, Goderich and surrounding
areas.
Showers were given by Mrs.
Ken Shortreed of Walton, Mrs.
Worthy Fowler of Goderich, Mrs.
Leo DiEtn.er of Ethel, Mrs. Jim
Laurie and. Mrs. Jack Wharton
of Blyth.
