Prior to dinner, served by the Ladies Auxiliary; Grace was sung accompanied on the piano by Mrs. Alberta Smith. . Introduction of Labatt's re- presentative, Bob Fickling and Mrs. Fickling was made by the club president, Sam , Workman. He also welcomed the ladies as guests of the dart club. He introduced the head table, which consisted of Willis Knight, Treasurer. Ernie Back, Secre- tary, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Fickling and his wife, Mrs. Jean Workman. After dinher, presentations were made by the president to Ross Nicholson for most starts, to Ernie Back, for most finishes and most points. AU Nichol was not present to receive his trophy for highest score with three darts. •Ernie Back presented the play-off trophies to tne team; 'Graber'S Team" these included, Ross Somers, Sid' White, Murray Kellington and Don McNeil. Willis Knight presented tro- phies to the top team of the year, "Sam's Gang"; these in- cluded, Sam Workman, Ernie Back, Jim Smith, Jan van Vliet and Harry Bolger. Sam Workman called on Bob Fickling to present the Labatt's play-off trophy to the Cranbrook team which included, Gordon Engel, John Smith, Bob Elliott, Gilbert Hetherington and Karl Kokesch. Ernie Back p'resented on be- half of the dart club, a type- writer to the Brussels Legion which was gratefully accepted by First Vice-President, Jack Brewer, as the President,Pete Cardiff, could not be present. Gordon Engel presented Ernie Back with a gift for his services to the Dart Club over the years. After the presentations the floor, was cleared for dancing, during which a draw was made, First prize winner was Sam Workman, 2nd. prize, Bruce Richmond, 3rd. prize, Mick Ona boy.
