Recent investigations carried
out by the O.P.P. of Wingham
Detachemtn include;
Eighteen investigations under,
the Liquor Control Act with
eighteen parsons charged.
Twenty-one charges laid
under the Highway Traffic Act
with 23 warnings issued.
Fifty-four Criminal inves-
tigations with twelve persons
charged under the Code.
On May 11, Kenneth W. John-
stone of Lucknow was involved
in a single car accident on High-
way 4, south of Huron Road 16,
Morris Township. Injured in the
accident were Peter Chisholm
and. Kenneth Roulston, both of
Lucknow and Bruce McManus of
R.R. #2, Owen Sound. Damages
to the vehicle were estimated
at $2,900.
On May 12,
of Wingham, was involved in a
single car accident on County
Road 20 west of Sideroad 36-37,
East Wawanosh Townshipl Mr.
Skinn received injuries, as well
as passengers in his vehicle -
Julie Henderson, Brenda Ablett
and Fay walden, all of Wingham.
Damages to the vehicle were
estimated at $1,000.
' On May 12, John L.G. Brown
of Kitchener, 'was travelling East
on Highway #86, when the aerial
of his car struck the arm of.
James B. Krohn of. Brussels,
who was attempting to hitchhike.
Mr. Krohn was injured as a
result. Damages to the Brown
car were minor.
On May 13, Theodore J. Saint
of Wingham, struck a parked ve-
hicle owned by Klaas Jorritsma
of R.R. #2, Wingham, which was
parked on Helena Street, just Raymond B. Skinn

The Seaforth Junior Farmers
met on May 1st, at the Seaforth
District High School with a base-
ball game at 7:30 P.M.
Jim Nixon opened the meeting
with the Junior Farmer Song. The
roll call was answered by forty
members., Minutes were given by
JoAnne Maloney and Paul Storey
gave a treasurer's report of
$855.34.
Neil Murray reported on the
Spring Competitions at Ottawa
which the curling team and part
of the baseball team participated
in.
Faye Ribey said ther e had
been some• interest in the Exeter
area for a new club. She asked
if the club would be interested
in offering financial support to the
club. After a discussion Barry
Gordon moved that we donate
$25.00 if the Exeter club is
started.
Miss Rihey, mentioned the up-
, coming fdpsanal and Tom Melady
distributed the draw tickets to
