the resignation of Sister Mary
Carmel, the prindipal, as she
is a sister in the St. Joseph's
Order which is also withdrawing
from the Stratford area at the
end of June.

Two Stratford teachers were
made principals at a meeting of
the Huron-Perth County Roman
Catholic Separate School Board
at Seaforth Monday.
Paul Nickel, presently a
teacher at Immaculate Con-
ception School in Stratford, will
be the principal at St. Ambrose
Roman Catholic School in Strat-
ford, effective September 1, 1973;
and Michael Dewan, presently a
teacher at St. Michael's
Roman Catholic School in Strat-
ford will be the principal at St.
Joseph's School in Stratford, the
same date.
These appointments follow the
resignations of Sister Mary Van-
Hee as principal of St,Ambrose
and Sister Rosemary Albon as
principal of St. Joseph, both
sisters in the Loretto order which
is withdrawing from the Stratford
area at the end of June.'

Dairy Cattle Day at Centralia
College is, on Friday, June 1st
when an interesting program for
dairy farmers and their wives
is planned.
Free stall housing for cattle
will be discussed by Harold
Clapp, Dairy Cattle Specialist
from Guelph on the morningpro-
gram, John Core, Ridgetown
College and Ross' Marshall, a
well known dairy farmer from
Kirkton will discuss how a dairy
farmer can find and keep good
farm labour.
Protein supplements for a
dairy herd Can cost a lot of
money and Bob Lang, dairy cattle
specialist from London, wil 1 be
illustrating ways of reducing
costs while still supplying enough
protein. Dr. W. D. Morrison
Trustee Gordon Ball of St.
Marys reported that he had been
told by the engineer that tenders
• were to be called within a day or
so for the sewage system to
service Holy Name of Mary
Roman Catholic School in St.
Marys. The Board is to prepay
50 per cent of the construction
cost for this sewer.
The Board gave permission
for the. Kilroy Council of Strat-
ford of the Knights of Columbus
to distribute circus tickets to
the separate schools in Stratford,
St. Marys, Hesson, Kinkora, Dub-
lin, St. Columban and Seaforth.
The Board passed a debenture
by-law authorizing the issue of
a debenture in the principal
amount of $202,000 for the
Fastball league

The Board gave authorization
for the Zurich Summer Play-
ground and Day Camp to use the
St. Boniface School, Zurich, play-
ground, Kindergarten room,
gymnasium, and boys' and girls'
washrooms during the month of
August, 1973. Monday to Friday,.
8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. with the
understanding that any damages
and daily clean up are the sole
responsibility of the group.
The Zurich Summer Play-
ground and Day Camp is a Fed-
eral Government Opportunities
for Youth Program. Miss Debra
Hogg of Zurich is heading the
program. '

ladies is planned for the after-
noon: Mrs. Aileen Bucknam
who has had a great deal of ex-
perience with the Ontario Milk
Foundation Will discuss the fapts
and fallacies about health foods
with major emphasis on dairy
products. The changing role of
the doilsurner is the topic for
Miss Marjorie Harris of Btr-
lington.
