APRIL 25, 103,4 Bluevale youth wins. award at Sunday School ATTENDANCE AWARDS Paul Moffatt was awarded a 15-year guard when attenua4ce awards were received by the children at Knox Presbyterian Church Sunday School on Sunday. Receiving 11 - year guards were Marie Walker, Kathy Walker, Daryl Walker, Bobby MadTavish and Glen Campbell. Five students Norma Willitts, Lynn Willitts, Mary Ellen Elston, Ronnie C arnp- bell and Wayne Campbell were awarded 10-year guards. Gold pins, signifying eight years of good attendance were presented to Sheila Walker, Marilyn Campbell, Bruce Camp- bell, Cameron Ross and Eric Ross. Seals were awarded to : '7th, year, Kathy Snell, Caroline Campbell, Sherry Ann Robertson, David Golley, De Wayne Golley; 6th year, Murray Campbell, Rae willitts, Ken Thompson; 5th year, Jacqueline Robertson, Donna Thompson, Corrie McInnes, David Shaw, Murray Snell; 4th year, Heather McInnes, Randy Greenaway; 3rd. year: Dianne Campbell, Tracey Day, Shirley Dorsch, Sheila Dorsch, Bryan Shaw, Brent Day, John -Dorsch, Anita Dorsch, Annette Dorsch, 2nd. year, Susan Elston, Sandra Thompson, Joanne Shaw, Bruce McInnes, Douglas Shaw, Susan Chapman. There were 8 tables playing. High Ladies' prize was won by Mrs. Wm. Eadie. Low Lady - Mrs. Burns Moffatt; High Man - Cameron Ross; Low Man - Eric Ross; Lucky Draw Mungo MacFar- lane. BLUEVALE III • The Bluevale III "Pretty Polyesters" 4-H Club met in the United ChUrch basetherit. Eight members answered the Roil Call which was "Compare the total cost of your garment with _a similar ready made one." The members and leaders discussed neckline finishes. The leader, Mary Edith Garniss, .de- monstrated the bound neckband, rolled edge trim and turtleneck collar. These are techniques which the members May use on their knit garmentS. PERSONALS Members of the community were saddened to hear that Mrs.. Aiken had passed away Satur- day in Wingham and District Hospital. Mrs. Aiken was a highly respected person and, had been very active in church and community affairs. She' was the correspondent for the Bluevale news for several years. Mr. and Mrs. John K. Mac Tavish visited one day this week with Mrs. R.H. McKinnon. , Mr. and Mrs. Bill Hall, Donna and grandson Mike of Chatham were Sunday visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Hall.
