Lodge.• Age 91. She is a member
of the Senior Citizens Centre,
Windsor and also the Centennial
Companion Rebecca Lodge No.
227 I.0,0. F. She i s predeceased
by her husband Durward (1948).
Dear sister of Miss Mary Dun-
canson, Walton, Ont. and several
nephews also survive. Funeral
was Friday, March 16, 1973 at
10 a.m. from the Anderson Fu-
neral Home, 895 Ouellette Ave.,
Windsor, with the Rev. William
H, Fitch officiating. Interment
Arnold's Cemetery, Louisville,

Fast Wawanosh Public School
was recently entertained by an
outdoorvisitor a large crow. It
was sighted early in the noon
hour by an observant student.
The crow was the highlight of
the noon hour and attracted many
Students. Near the end of the
neon hour, pupils watched it glide
to the field and come back with
a mouse. The crow then flew
to the corner of the school to
devour it,
That afternoon it visited
several classrooms by resting

BELGRAVE I 4-H
Belgrave I Club met on March
26 in the arena rooms. Roll
call was-'Compare the cost of
your garment to a similar ready-
made one".
Carol Walker read the
minutes and it was agreed to
name the club the Stylish Seven.
Mrs. Clarke Johnston discussed
finishing necklines and trims.
Members received handout
sheets and Mrs. Richard Mdore
demonstrated the roll edge, trim
and binding for the neckline.
Minutes were read by Connie
Meurs. The next meeting will
be held April 19. Mrs. Richard
Moore demonstrated on sleeves
and armhole finishes. Hand-out
sheets were handed out. Mrs.
Clarke Johnston discussed tai-
lor's hem.

Lack of Vitamin A is the
largest cause of blindness among
infants in the developing
countries of Africa, Asia, and
South America. Last year, it
blinded over 10,000 babies in
India.
International organizations
for the blind appeal for immediate
action to save a multitude of
children from a lifetime of un-
necessary blindness. Mothers
have to be taught how to select
and prepare the right food for
their children.
Country women and home-
makers everywhere have a major
part to 'play in a world effort
which experts believe could save
the sight of 100,000 children dur-
ing the next five years.
The Belgrave Womens Insti-
tute is inviting everyone to euchre
and' a social evening .in the wo-
men's Institute Hall on Friday,
April 6 at 8:30 p.m., where a
silver collection will be taken,
the proceeds to go to "Save the
Sight Project". Members are
asked to bring sandwiches. Will
you come and help to save the
sight of a helpless child?
