This is my problem: I am 13 and I started smoking when I was 11. My mother finally found out that I was smoking, and I told her I would stop. I stopped for only a week. My best friend and I got into a fight and we didn't talk to each other for the whole summer. After this summer I told him lies so he wouldn't know I smoke. But then I finally told him the truth and asked him • not to tell anyone. Now I feel guilty about the whole thing. What should I do? If this is the case, place your sterilized sealed containers of maple syrup in a cool dry place. The syrup should keep for up to one. year. However, after a container has been opened, recap it tightly and keep in the refrigerator. If maple syrup develops mold or a musty flavor, don't throw it out. Skim off 'as much mold as possible and heat the syrup. Just before it begins to boil, add 3/4 cup skim milk to each • gallon of syrup. Boil for 2 to 3 minutes, then filter through cheesecloth. Store the syrup in tightly capped Jars in the re- frigerator.
