MINQR BOCKEY-ZONE 2 GOAL 'KEEPER TEAM STANDINGS BruSsels minor hockey action Brussels` arena was a busy spot Sunday when eight teams competed in the Royal Canadian Legion Zone C Pee Wee hockey tournament. Exeter emerged as the Cham- pionship team with the trophy presented by Ted Elliott of the Brussels Branch of the Legion. Blyth were runners-up. These two teams will now compete in the District Tourna- ment to be held in Goderich. In the 8 a.m. game in • the first round Brussels defeated Blyth 6 2; Seaforth lost to Luck- now 5-2; Kincardine bested Goderich 4 - 2 and Exeter wen over Wingham 7-2. Blyth went on to defeat Londesboro 8 - 4 on the second round while Exeter advanced over Kincardine 5-1. In the finals Exeter was tops over Blyth by 8 goals •ending with a 9-1 score. In a novice exhibition game in the afternoon Kincardine defeated. Skipped by Wilma Bothwell, the rink included Vice, Fern Matheson, Second, Jackie Pettapiece, Lead, Doris McLean, and also won the 9 o'clock draw. Second prize was won by Lil- ian Spence and her rink from Listowel. Third prize went' to Jean' McDonald and her rink from Teeswater and Fourth prize to Anna Goodall and her rink from Wingham. On the 11:30 draw, Nora Stephenson and her rink from .Brussels won first. Second Prize went to Jackie McPhail and her rink from Palmerston.
