The January meeting of
Brussels Presbyterian Church
w.m.s. was held at the home of
Mrs. John Yuill with the new
President, Mrs. Mair in the
chair. The meeting opened with
a poem "A Summary for a New
year" and “Facing the New Year
in Faith" by Mrs. Mair. Hymns
were sung with Mrs. King at the
piano. The scripture was read by
Mrs. Jack Bowman from the
first. Chapter of Genesis andMrs.,
King gave the meditation. Mrs.
Steiss gave the secretary's re-
ports-and Mrs. Speir gave the
treasurer's report. Mrs. Yuill
is taking a car load to the An-
nual Meeting in the Presbyterian
Church in wingham. There were
25 calls on sick and shut ins.
Mrs. Speir read . an article on
Judy Bridges' Home of Hope.
