Death of William E. Johnston
Death in its tragic form visited God -

tit of despondency. Mr. Johnston, who

months. There had been frequent ev-
idence that his mind was somewhat
deranetal of late and 0 waif while in this
condition that he swallowed poison early
Friday morning. His death followed at
Alexandra hospital about a :10 the sane 1

shire, England, in 1845 sill came to this
country when tee, old. After about
ten years spent near Rlyrl► the family
moved to 4;,slerich. 1n 1573 1e was mar-
ried to Margaret Sturdy who predeceased
him eleven years. To thin were born
