The remains of the late George H,

The new street pavement shows the
effects of frost in a few places and will
require repairing in the spring.
While the proposition to electrify the
London, Huron & Bruce Railway is
(
creating considerable talk, there is little
doubt abut the sentiment of the people
in the country around here. Few of the
farmers believe that the scheme is at all
practicable in view of the heavy cost.
I hey hold that the present Is a most
inoppor tune time to ga in for expenditure,
invulving millions of dollars, particularly
on a doubtful proposition.
