On Wednesday, July 29th, the Gode-
rich Industrial League held sway at the
Agricultural Park. in a game of bluebell
between the National Shipbuilding Co.
and the Western Canada Flour Mills Co.
The Nationals. who had previously lost
two games to the Dominion Roads team,
were determined to break into the win
column, and trotted out a new twirler in
the person of "Bill" Lumby, late of the
Essex County League, where he had won
seven grimes and lost two. The Millers,
however, had no respect either for his
fame or feelings. and hammered his offer-
ings to'all corners of the lot for the five
innings that he worked. On the other
hand. "Cliff" Webb, who was on the
nring line for the Millen. had the Natien-
als completely at his mercy and he was
never in trouble. The Millers had a
regular Merry go -round in the wirood and
seventh, Mr, man coming to bar. scot -
