Henry Robinson died from injuries he
received while working on the night shift
at the Exeter salt works on May 21st.
He was standing on a platform and pulling
on a wire to raise a trapdoor when the
wire became detached and he fell back off
the platform, a distance of several feet.
He was taken home and It was found he
had been seriously injured and -be died on
the following Tuesday night. He Was
fifty years of age and leaves a widow and
five small children.
.Digory Braund, a veteran business
man of Exeter, died on Wednesday, May
26, aged eighty-two years. • For many
( years he conducted a blacksmith and
carriage-makina business at the north end
of the town. His wife, two sons and one
daughter survive.
Wesley Lamport had a mishap with his
motor car one night recently. the car
upsetting and his foot being caught and
injured so severely that several stitches
were required to close the wound.

Western Fair—September 11th to 18th.
The manag ment of the Western Fair
are makirg active preparations for their
1920 exhibition. Already space is all
taken in some of the buildings and the
others are tilling up rapidly.
Visitors to the exhibition may fest
mssured that the exhibits in all depart -
t nts will be far better than ever before.
The interior of the machinery building
will be all re -arranged and laid out much
better fou both visitors and exhibitory.
The process building will be occtjpied
by the pure food show again this year.
The grounds will be in far better condi-
tion than before. having been filled in
and levelled up during the year and the
roads through the park- graded and
gravelled.

castle of Dundalk took place here Mon-
