Annual Meeting Held -Much Useful
Work Dote Dtriag the Year.
The annual meeting of the Maple Leaf
Chapter, 1. O. D. E., was held in the
court house on Wednesday, February
fah. The secretary's report was as fol-
lows:
SECRETARY'SREPORT.
In reviewi g the work of the post year,
we find the Maple Leaf Chanter in a very
flourishing condition The total, receipts
for the yrar were $1727.52 and the metn-
bet-ship has been increased, thirtit-three
members now being enrolled.
Ten regular monthly meetings and five
special meetings were held during the
year. Red Croat sewing has been done,
the Chapter receiving grants of money
from the Goderich Red Cross for this
purpose.
Two boxes of socks were donated by
the members. one to the Secours National
and one to the Polish army at Niagara.
Ont. Twenty-six Christmas -parcels were
sent overseas to friendless soldiers, value
of shipment 1191. Forty-six 'bags were
