ory of the Late Lieut. R. A. Walter. -
`A memorial service was held in Snitch's
Hill Presbyterian church on Sabbath
afternoon, De:ember 8th, for the late
Lieut. Roy A. Walter. M. C.. who fell
near Cambrai on September 29th. 1911.,
the day on which the Canadians, lighting
with such dash and bravery, broke
through the Hindenburg 1pe. Rev. R. J.
Rosa who conducted the service, paid a
tribute to the gallantry of the Canadian
soldiers, who as a fighting unit were con-
