Limited. purchased from the Caporlltwn of the
Town of Goder,ch those portions lying between
Newgate and Brock streets of what was formerly
known as the Doty Plant. and has Once acquiring
said premises improved and added to them. and
has for the pest yew been engaged in the menu -
lecture of marine engines and hollers.
AND WHEREAS at the ume of the purchase of
said premises it was agreed that the rid premises
should be granted exemption Irom municipal
taxes, except school taxes, for ■ period of ten
years, subject to the approval of the ratepayers
bine obtained to a bylaw to be submitted for
that purpose.
AND WHIRS As the said Company has Once ac-
quired the remainder of the former Doty plant
being the premises on Maitland road formerly
occupied by the Paget Grain Door Company.

AND WHIEIAs the said Company proposes to
still further increase its operations in the Town of
Goderich by erecting • Naber shop adjacent to Its
present plant on Maitland road and has purchased
from the Corporation of the Town of Godench foe

owned by Gode8Kh Wheel Rigs, Limited, and
now owned by the Corporation of the Town of
Goderich, end is about to proceed forthwith
with the erection and operation of said boiler
shop.
AND WHIRIAS the said Company in conrider-
tion of the erection by it of said new boiler shop
