mother, Mrs. Gibson. She had gone
with her husband to Denver, hoping the
change would prove beneficial. Six
weeks ago an operation was found neces-
sary, and this apparently was successful..
and on Monday last Mrs. Wilson re-
ceived a letter written by Mrs. ;Hays her-
self telling how well she was and saying
that the doctors hat promised she would
be able to leave the hospital on Tuesday.
which was the day of her death. Mrs.
Wilson has had no particulars of the un-
expected demise of her sister. Mrs.
Hays was very well known in Goderich
and her many friends will be saddened by
her death.
Mrs. Wilson has also received word
from St. Luis, Mo., of the death of the
only grandson of her brother George Gib-
son. a beautiful boy of eight years who
died after two or three days' illness of
meningitis.
The members of the Women's Mission-
