A HARPY EVENT. -On Wedne>da>, May 1st, the home of Mr. and Mrs. m. H. Lobb was the scene of a pretty wedding when their third daughter, Olive Ferne. was united in the holy hands of matri- mony to Mr. Lorne Jervis. eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Alf. Ji rvis. of Holmesville. in the presence of immediate. friends.. and relatives. At 11 o'clock. to the strains of Mendelssohn's wedding march played by Miss Joy Lobb. youngest sinter - 1 of the bade. the bridal party entered the parlor and took their places between ever- green pedestals with a pretty background of evergreens and white satin ribbons. I The bride who was given away by her Ifather. was daintily gowned in white silk poplin and satin with veil and orange blossoms, and carried a beautiful shower bouquet of roses and lily of the valley. Her sinter, Miss Lulu. was bridesmaid. She wore a gown of reseda green silk pop- lin with gold trimmings and a pretty cors- age bouquet of Ophelia rosea.
