The total amount realized was $451.10, which has been forwarded to the headquarters of the fund. The success of this effort is due primarily to Mrs. W. L. Eliot. regent of the Abmeek chapter, 1. O. D. E., who on receiving the appeal organized and directed the campaign in behalf of the wounded soldiers of France. Miss Edith Millar also did excellent work as treasurer of the fund. A Farewell Presentation. On Friday evening • pleasant affair took place at the borne of Mr. and Mrs. 1'. E. Sunbusa. where the choir of Knox church gathered and sur- prised the choirmaster and organist and his wife with a farewell presenta- tion. Rev. R. C.
