bridge, the county of Huroo has won
its appeal from the decision of Judge

A special meeting of the wn coun-
cil was held nn TbursJay I to con-
sider a proposition front the D minion
Road Machinery Co. for the 1. e of
the Doty Want. The pro. was
that the rental should be $1, per
veer and half o: the insure° on
building and equipment. Mr. C.
Moore, manager of the Road Mach
CI y Co. was heard in support of tb
proposition, and after some discumio
it was referred to committee of the
wbole council. The committee re-
ported at the regular meeting of coun-
cil on Fa iday evening in favor of an
alternative proposition that the Road
NIschinery Company be allowed to
use the Dory moadding shoo at a
nominal rents,' of $25 a month. This
was c anfIrmed by the council and has
since been accepted by the Compe.ny,
which fakes posmission this week.

ron road, in his seventieth year. He

at Shetutian's shoe store. The funeral
took plaice on Sunday. the services be-
ing conducted by Rev. J. E. Fold.
