with the Goderich Coal Co. (P. J.
MacEwan, manager) to take over
and carry on my cartage business

Do the people of Goderich appreciate as they should
their own town ")" you ask 1n an editorial note in your inter-
esting paper. They do not. We who have left the old home
may It is quite the prettiest town I have ever seen. and my
experience is not small. It has the charm and the beauty of
any of the spots of Devon so much described in novels. but
comrarattvely few tell its praises. It is after coming from a
busy. noise -racking metropolis that the beautiful lake is en-
auty, its colors

watched its countless whitecaps tossed by the fresh north-

circular spot in he heart of the town. in every other place
than Goderich a commonplace business street, with monot-

Where n a more picturesque little hamlet than Benmil
