DIED IN - HER CHILDHOOD. -The
home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Mullin,
of the Ilth concession, suffered a sad
bereavement on Tuesday of last week,
when their eldest deugbt.er, Mazie
Viola, pasted away at the early age of
twelve yeah. The young girl was a
victim of tuberculosis, which rapidly
developed from • cold contracted last
/faster. Up to that time she had been
an exceptionally healthy girl. The
funeral to Greenhill cemetery took
place last Thursday afternoon.

DEATH of JAS. YotNo.-Thr death
occurred on Saturday,July 16th, of Mr.
Jas. Young. of this place. Mr. Young
was in his seventy-first year. The
funeral took place on Tuseedal from
the Methodist church. Rev I. Mc-
Kelvey conducted the service, assisted
by Rev. U. Grimm, The remains
were taken to Clinton for interment.
