EVENING CLASSES!
The Board of Trustees of the Goderich Collegiate
Institute has decided to re -open the evening classes
on Monday, the 1 3th of September. 1915.
The following will be the subjects :
1. Woodworking and Mechanical Drawing
• 2. Cooking 3. Dressmaking
4. Millinery
Three evenings per week will be devoted to each subject.
Competent teachers for the different subjects have been
engaged.
A fee of $1.00 per term payable in advance will be charged.

in 1874 again volumed to the Point

until bis departure from Goderich io
1914.
He was a veteran of the Fenian Raid
of 1888, for which be received the
medal for service on the frontier at
Sarnia, bovine been a member of the
old Huron Rifles. His nest wife died
in 1880 and he later married Mise
Ellen Sutherland, who died in
1801. In 1807 be married Mrs.
Porte. of Guelph. by whom he it
survived. He leaves one son by his
first marriage, Mr. T. C. Wright now
et Hamilton, and two brothsrs-
Jooathan, of California, and Robert,
in Chleago-aleo survive him.
It would be . most Imperfeet 'keteb
of the life of Mr. Wright that did not
bear tribute to 10ia loyalty -loyalty to
his Sovereign and his country, and
loyalty to the community in which he
lived. He endeavored to upbold the
interests of Goderich and the county
of Huron on all possible occasions, sed
in later years he delighted to record
the story of some public incident of
bygone days In which he bad taken •

There abould be • very fine display of
field roots end vegxables and the
board expects the prise -winners io the
field crop competition to exhibit speci-
mens of their prise gralo.
Fruit may be a little lees than last
fear, but growers say they still have a
air trample to exhibit. Vegetables
teem to he of very fine quality.
The Red Grose will have a stand in
the main hall. Other patriotic organ-
isation, win be represented and with
good September weather the fair of
1916 can be expected to be well rep to
the standard of the last few years.
