half • century. Mr. McCluskey was
born in Londonderry, Ireland. in Feb-
ruary, ISA+, and tbus bad attained the
good old age of eighty-six 'years aod
six months. He was of Scottish de-
scent and at the age of twelve years
be went with his parents to Scotland,
Where he remained until the -age of
twenty-eight. He bagmen the cotton -
spinning trade and worked at it for
wine years at Glasgow. In IS57 he
came to this couotty and became u
resident of Goderich towuship. to

Macdonald. of Porter's Hill, the mar-
