Young Lad Seriously Iniured.
A sad accident befell Ewart. the
eight-year-old eon of Mr. and Mrs. G.
L Lamb. of Colborne township, on
Tuesday. Mr. Lamb bad been "'Meg

Ernest MacMillan Interned.
When Rev. Alex. MacMillan, of
Mimico, was in town the past week .s

Money in House, Family Starving.
Fred Hodge. of Corrie. was arrested
on July bob on a charge of neglecting
to support his wife anti children. Hav-
ing received certain information, Offi-
cer Phippeo. of Wingh•m, visited the
home and round the wife and iufant
child greatly suffering from want of
food. Three other children were in a
mon healthy condition. Investigation
proved that considerable money was

The Victoria Helpers' Bible Clam, of
Victoria street Methodist church. held

proved to be not the least enjoyable part
