MUNICIPAL COUNCILS.
BAST WAWANOSH.
The last meetings of the 000ncil for
1914 was held on December lith, with
all the members present. Minutes of
last meeting read and confirmed. Re-
port of Dr. Rtewart, M. 0. H.. *Sew-
ing the township to have been particu-
larly free from any ooata&bus or in-
fectious diseases during the year. r -
oelved and read. The sum of 1196.011
was 'recited Dr. Stewart for services
as M. 0. H The clerk was instructed
to bill the trustees of S. 8. No. 11 for
ti5.50, being amount of expense incur-
red in having an analysis made a the
water from well at school house the
past season. A communication from
the Canadian t3.Cltrage Association,
asking that the municipal franchise be
granted to married women owning
property and that a referendum on
this question be taken at the next
municipal election. received and or-
dered to be fled. It was ordered that
when the trustee board of the police
village of Auburn furnishes a state-
ment showing that they have ex
pmwded what mouiss they bare on
baud and amid an order signed by tba
chairman of the board on the town-
ship treasurer for the &Mount re-
quested, the treasurer be instructed
to honor the same. Dift.cent rate-
payers were present regarding minor
drainage problems, but in each case

returning his roll was extended 11

ed filed on motion by Jobnstoe and
Naylor. Dr. T. R. Oasts, M. 0. H., re-
ported as follows : A. Medical Health
Officer I beg to submit my annual re-
port of the sanitary condition of the
township for 1914. We have been free
from any epidemic of infectious or
contagious disease. with the 'mom -
tion of measles and chickenpox. The
number of nuisances reported dnrine
the year was less then last year.
There were seventeen deaths reported.
Niue were between seventy and
ninety-four years of age, and two
were still -bore. There were two
deetbs from tuberculosis. There were
'twenty-nine births and eight mar-
riages. Bylaw No, 11 was read three
times and peered on motion by John-
ston and Purdon. This bylaw roo-
