THE TAILOR
Woman Burned to Death
Standing et the foot of the stairs in
her home, her clothing a mase of
flames, Mra Michael Goettler, r well-
known resident of Stretford, was
found by her husband on Saturday
evening. So Madly wan she burned
that death occurred in the general
hospital early Sunday morning. Mr.
Ooettler is suffering from soot. nasty
burns in the bands and feet t revived
in extinguishing the flames.
Just bow the accident oecutred is a
mystery and the eiicumstences sur-
rounding the sad death of Mrs. Goett-
ler mayprobably never be known.
The ate Mrs. Go.•ttler was a daugh-
ter of Mr. Michael Kastner, of Kee,
Derwin', atter whom that village re-
ceived its name. About n0 years ago.
following her marriage. she moved to
Serettori, where sbe melded up to her
