There were about 50 present anti all report an enjoyable time, eepecrally those who oxupied the back seat of the last truck -los d coating home. The first load left the eb;•rcb about a quarter to five and ethers the seccodload ar- rived, which it did about twenty min- utes part seven, the lunch was already spread on the ground. After a very dainty lunch of sandwiches, cake, sal- ads and )-rules, with tea and lemonade to aid the reveller's digestion of the aforementioned dainties, they repaired to the beach where a huge fire was kindled which warmed the night air and shed a strong light for some yards around. The corn wan very dainty to the palate. but probably this was due to the ,kilfulnesa of the cook who pre- sided over the fires. Tbe ride home {especially the last load) was not the least enjoyable feature of the evening. The last of the revellers arrived at the church about eleven o'clock feeliog tired but happy and ell voted it • splendid suerese.
