in all the country is
more fitted for to -day's work than
you are if you slept last night on a
Ventilated Mattress
You cannot rest and refresh yourself thoroughly
if your bed is lumpy, matted or saggy. The revilencc
of the MARSHALL is just as great after one year, or
ten years' UM as after the first night. This can be
said of no mattress stuffed with hair or cotton felt.
The MARSHALL is composed of a thousand little steel
!priors each working 'Independently of the other, .vith a light cover-
ing of fine sterilised hair. The air circulates through every part 04
the interior, being adted through ventilators at the ends of the
mattress.
It is more comfortable, more sanitary, and the most
durable suttees' made.

NOTES FACES PROSECUTION
$esthlne Denaslatlen e1 Promoter by
Railway Beard
Detective Greer to west to Algon-
quin Park last --eek to arrest oa a
charge of theft Mr. John W. Moyes,
promoter and president of the Outarto
West Shore Railway. was IlnaneCe*e-
tuI to his mission and It is ver7 nook
doubted If Mr. Moyes had ever gone
to the Park. The nuance of the
warrant followed the report mate by
the Ontario Railway and Municipal
Board after its investigation of the
affair of the company. The finding
of tbs Board was In port as follows:
That John W. Moyes, by the false
and fraudulent representation that
$13,600 had been pa'd In to the DomIn-
loa Bank, Toronto, on aocoant of the
capital stock, procured the Ontario
West Shore Railway Company to Its
permanently organised.
That by procuring t , be tames Labe
rad fraudulest progress certificates,
John W. Moyes withdrew from the
Toronto General Trusts Corporation
the proceeds of the sale of the bonds
guaranteed by the applicants, amount
Inc with Interest, to the sum of
$402,837.37, and Vaughan M. Roberts,
the railway company's engineer. by
his gross negligence and breach of
duty, aided and abetted Mot's. In his
fraudulent design.
That owing to the fast that no books
of the company's business were kept,
and that many voucher's for payments
are missing. the board cannot report
with exactness how much or the
amount so fraudulently, withdrawn by
Moyes was properly expended, thie
much 1s clear that, while several
thousands of dollars were applied to
purposes foreign to the railway, the
sum of $328,376.04 was properly ex•
vended in railway construction and
materials.
