OBITUARY
Mrs. Thomas Ausebrook
Not only her intlutate friends but
the whole comwuaity war shocked
and grieved at the same Onus to hear
of Mrs. Thomas Ausebtook's death on
Smiley morning. As she had only been
111 about a week her death came as a
surprise to her gnarly friends both in
sad out of town. Mho was a lady very
much admired for her charitable dis-
position and her demise is a seryo,t•
loss to this community. 8he was a
member of North street Metholist
church and was always keenly inter-
ested in church and social circles. 8be
was born in North shield, England,

Montreal and later came to Brantford.
where she was married. later. with
her husband, she came to Ooderich
and has lived here for about :111 years.

Jane Oliver.
Besides her husband she is survived
by one ' daughter, Miss Eva. at
home. The funeral took place on
Tuesday afternoon from the family
residence, corner of Church and ,Nel-
son streets, to, the 6ienul Trunk sta-
tion and interment was made its Paris
Cemetery. where one daughter was
hurled years ago. Rev. W. K. Hager
conducted the funeral setivice and the
pallbearers were : Messrs. Joseph
Kidd. Frank Lawrence. JAmes Doyle,
John Acheson, Charles Shepherd and
Capt. Shephard.
The room in which the remains re-
posed was simply banked with flowers
and togethet with the large number
of friends. who were present at the
funeral, trot -died to the high esteem
the deceased routmandcd here.
