As she had only been 111 about a week her death came as a surprise to her gnarly friends both in sad out of town. Mho was a lady very much admired for her charitable dis- position and her demise is a seryo,t• loss to this community. 8he was a member of North street Metholist church and was always keenly inter- ested in church and social circles. 8be was born in North shield, England, *ad canis to this country at an early 1► . With her parents she Heed in Montreal and later came to Brantford. where she was married. later. with her husband, she came to Ooderich and has lived here for about :111 years. ' Her maiden name was Miss Sauab Jane Oliver. Besides her husband she is survived by one ' daughter, Miss Eva. at home. The funeral took place on Tuesday afternoon from the family residence, corner of Church and ,Nel- son streets, to, the 6ienul Trunk sta- tion and interment was made its Paris Cemetery. where one daughter was hurled years ago.
