BENMILLER
The quarterly service was held in
the Methodist church last Sunday
morning. The largo congregation that
gatbered from each of the four ap-
pointments filled the church. The
pastor preached from Dan. VI., verse

chamber toward Jerdaalem." The
love feast and Lord's supper that were
afterwards held were largely attended.
The number of commanicante were
greater then at any other similar ser-
vice during the present pastor's in nis-
try. The quarterly board was held on

present. The membersbip for the
year was reported an 173, a net increase
of 11 on the year. The reports of the
four Sunday schools show health and
prosperity in this department. An
appreciative revolution was paused un-.
emulously of the services of Mr. An-
drew Million. who for upwards of 211
years had occupied the position of re-
cording steward. He bad retired from
this office on his removal to Victoria
street church, Oodericb. Mr. Arthur
Fisher tram appointed in his place. Mr.
babel Aplin was appointed es district
meeting delegate. The finances came
in well from three nut of the four lip-
potntlilents and the circuit esti con-

ing prevailed and quickened interest
