who attended the Easter ball given on
Monday night by the Me oesetung
Canoe club wended their weary way
borne the grey dawn of morning was
beginning to sbuw in the east. The
tall was perhaps the most successful
ever held by the club and passed off
without a single hitch. It was really
a lnilhaut affair and one which will

who enjoyed to the fullest capacity

There passed away at the home of

urday last, Joseph Angus Taylor in
his thirtieth year, after a lengthy ill-
ness of tuberculosis. He leaves a wife

Monday afternoon by Rev. J. Reid, of
Butes' Presbyterian church. Inter-
ment was made in the Ruins' ceme-

Easter Sunday was fittingly observ-
ed in lunderbovo churches. At the
morning nervier iu the Methodist
church a very interesting service was
held by the Sunday school. Raster

given by the members of the school.
The Sunday school orcbeetea and
choir tendered a good service. The
church was beautifully decorated, and
we filled to the doors. Another large

mon. The church choir rendered
specially appropriate music. At the
Prewbyterien church in the afternoon
