death occurred early Thursday morn-
ing Last of Mary Anne Gallagher, be-
loved wife of the late Ezekiel Phillips.
Deceased was in her *event y -anal
year and survived her husband by the
abort term of eight months. She was
born in Colborne township, near Car-
low, and spent the early years of her
life there. She is survived by one
brother, John Gallagher, of ('a low,
and two sisters. Miss Gallagher, of
Godericb, and Mrs. Devereaux, of Ash-
field, and ber own family : Mrs. Fox. of
W bitecburch ; Mrs. Strict, of Yellow
Brass. Sask.; Miss Elizt and ben.

John, of Yellow Grass. The funeral

Thomas E. Durbin, which occurred no
Saturdsv, JulyI2, after a week's ill-
ness. Mr. Doroin was born fifty-six'

Wawanosh. In the year 1880 he went
to North Dakota. where be engaged
in 1 inning. returning in 18BI4 and

Dungannon Of late years hn was an
extensive dealer in cattle. He took an
