NOTICE TO HORSEMEN.
Stallion owners should enroll their
'melee at once.
* great many of the stallion owners
of the Province of Ontario hare en-
rolled their stallions at^-otding to Lw,
hat no doubt there are many who
have neglected to do so. 1 would
warn these that it will be absolutely
neeemary to have all stallions enrolled
bdore the season opens about May
let.
A great many horsemen do not
understand what procedure to take.
Some are of the opinion that it is ab-
solutely necessary to have the horses
inspected. Title is not correct. The
law states that the horse must be en-
rolled, and be tuay he inspected if the
owner so desires.
In order to enroll a horse all that it
is necessary to do is to send his breed- i
ing, age, markings and the name of
the owner to A. P. Westervelt, Par-
liament Buildings, Toronto. along
with the fee of lila' 00. Mr. Westervelt
wiU do the rest
According to the law it is necessary i
for the owner to have a copy of the !
enrollment oerti&ste appear on bis
printed bills or advertisements.
