The milk bylaw wan emended to ,
snake its requirements somewhat lees
stringent. No milk is to be sold that
contains leer than twelve i.et cent. of IS
solids, of which three per rent. shall
be buuer fat. The tlgutes in the orig-
inal bylaw were 124 and 3i*. The bylaw '
is to come inteeffect on June 1st. The
change in the standard was made at
the suggestion of the Minister of Agri-
culture, in order that there should not
be too radical a dttTer-mre between the
quality of the milk supply heretofore
sold in town and the new requirements.
