The de- ceased had been in poor health for the past year. He was horn at Rants - kitten, Ireland, in I845 and came to Canada forty-four years ago. He wan • stonemason and for many years worked at his trade in conjunction with his farming Operations. He is survived by bis wife and a family of two sons and three daughter, : W. J. Marshall, of Cliot,n : John T. Mar- shall and Mrs. T. H. Cole, of Goderich township; Mrs. James Livermore and Mrs. Ernest Jackson, of Clinton. ANOTHER OLD RESIDENT DEPARTS. —This week we have to record the death of James Lindsay, an old soil highly respected resident of the Huron road, Goderieh township. On Saturday morning, 8th inst., bis son Charles found him dead in bed.
