Figures Presented' on Monday at Meet-
ing of Representative.' from Many
Points in the County -Complete
Schedules Po.bhehed to This Issue
0o Monday afternoon the report of
the Outario Hydro -electric Commis-
sion on a proposed supply of power for
Huron county rnuntctpalitiee was
presented et a meeting held in the
court house, at which Clinton, Sea -
forth, Hensen, Exeter, Blyth and
Dashwood, as well as (ioderich, were
represented. Messrs bieby and Yates,
engineers of the C'tmmiesiou, brought
the report and Mr. Gahy read a great
pertton of it to the meeting. The re-
port shows clearly that the Maitland
River development connected with
the Niagara system is toe bestpropoei-
tion for this district, and it was stated
that. in order to furnish a supply of
power at the eat tient possible date, the
Commission would be willing to ex-
tend the Niagara transmission lice to
Goderich and furnish power therefrom
at 1 he price of combined Maitland and
Niagara power until the Maitland
River development should be com-
pleted.
The engineers on returning to Tor-
onto sent Up n report condensed some-
what from that which was in Mr.
Gaby'e hands on Monday. This is
published in tull in a supplement with
this issue of The Signal and should
be carefully perused by the people of
Huroo.
