when Elisabeth Gibson, beloved wife
or John Porter. was called to her last

Mrs. Porter, who had
reached her eighty-second year, was
called rather tuddeoly, being in good
health up to the Tuesday previous to
her death. Duriog her lone life rhe
had been a resident of Goderich town-
ship and town, being the first white
child to be born on the Huron road in

trials of the early settlers end in 1866
