Farewell to Operator Baldwin.
"Andy" Baldwin. who baa been
operator at the C. P. R. statiou here

Godericb and who is leaving next
week to go into business at Pilot
Butte, near Regina, was given a
great send-off by his fellow -workers
of the Inca l C. P. R. stall on Tuesday
evening. The gathering. numbering
about thirty was held at the British
Recharge hotel, the room being
decorated with mottoes appropriate to
the occasion. and the teat of honor
being placed under a large red ensign
with the placard "Long live Baldwin"
in the ceotre. Conductor H. Mc-
Dougall acted es chairman and taut -
master. and a ooatiouous perform/mon
with only short stops between acts,
was kept un for several hours. An
address to Mr. Baldwin, reciting his
Melees -and tendering the good wishes
of the gathering, was read by
