Death of Exeter Hotelman.
Exeter, June le. -The death of John
A. Newell, proprietor of the Commer-
cial hotel. took place here yesterday.
The deceased was thirty-seven years
of ate and was ill only- a few days
from au mute attack of Bright's
disease, from which his life had been
previously threatened. He had resided
in kreter for about a year.
Moving to Goderich.
The Stratford Beacon of Saturday
lent said:
"Mr. Dan O'Brien, who for the past
six years has been employed in the
meat department of the Whyte Pack-
ing Co., has resigned and leaves on
Monday for (}odericb, where he will
go into business with another Strat-
ford they and for mer employe of the
Whyte Packing Co., Mr. Thomas
Legg. On Thurrday evening the

surprised Mr. O'Brien and presented
him with e handsome club bag and
as address, expressive of the regret
