Mrs. Henry was bora in Belies', 7re-
Isod, seventy-seven years ago and
came W Cauada when but a child. In
lest she was married to the late
Thomas Henry, who predeceased her
six years. They resided in Wawanoh
and afterwards iu Ashfield. A family
of four daughters and four sons sur-
vive. They are Mrs. Jos. Hackett,
Era John Barkley and Mrs. Wm.
Irwin, of Ashfield ; Mrs. Thomas
Ammar. of London ; George. of West
Wawaooeh : Thomas and Robert, of
Ashfield. The (uneral, which took
piece to Dungannon cemetery, wax
studded by a large concourse of ,or -
rowing and sympstbetic friends.
Rev. S. Jefferson bad charge of the
services at the boua•e sod graveside.

BYLAW (%ARRIED.-The vote on the
waterworks bylaw, to taise 113,919 for
the purpose of extending the pipes for
fire protection, carried yesterdsy,
there being 128 votes in favor to Lone
against. So now the pipes will be ex-
tended practically over the whole
town. -
DEATH OF Mets. RICH AHDBON.-Miss
F. Richardson, who had been on the
sick bit for suite time, parsed away
on Thursday list at the age of sixty-
six years. The funeral took place on
Sunday from her late residence. and
from there the remains weir taken to

a great night in their lodge room on
Tuesday evening, the Grand Master
paying an official visit to the lodge.
The lodge exemplified the initiatory
degree, after which the tit and Master
paid a compliment to the way the

of the Order all over Canada. At the
close of the add,-ees he presented
Brother A. W. Robinson with a fob
and locket as a mark ,of appteciation
of work done by bin. Mr, Robinson
in a few wotda thanked the Grind
Master for the presentation.

read the letter from the se-retary of
the Presbytery declaring the pulpit
vacant.. rhe session and board of
management met after the service and
have advised three men to be asked
to preach here. Next Sunday Rev.
Mr. McKay, cf Thameaford, will
preach.
