here on Friday eveuing was a grand
mimeos. The music, which was fur-
nished by the Macinuis brotbera, was
excellent and was highly appreciated

solemnized at the home of Mrs. W.
H. Seed, when ber youngest daugh-
ter, jlfav, was united in marriage to
Erneet Sherwood, of Wilkie, Sask.
The pride and groom were recipients
of beautiful and useful presents, sbow-
}ng the high esteem in which the
young couple are held. Thew leave
for their Western home on Tuesday
morning. followed by the beet wishes
of their many friends tor a happy and
sued ireful voyage over tbe sea of life.

FARMERS' CLUB. -There was a fair
attendance at the Fanners' Club meet-
ing here last Tuesday evening. The
subject for debate was, "Resolved,
that women should vote." The affirm-
ative was taken by A. Boyle, J.
Kinshan and J. Cummins, while the
negative was upheld by T. Kearney
G. Kinaban and W. Boyle, The
negative won by a few points. Wm.
Mclntosb, Wm. !Mahan and P.
Walsh acted as judges.

Wm. Redmond is helping his uncle,

Continuing, Mr. Lemieux quoted Mr.
Pelletier's declaration that be relied
on his friend Roblin to establish separ-
ate schools in Manitoba. In hia opin-
ion the Borden Government was mak-
ing a great Mistake in not facing the
