Elizabeth Symington, wife of George
Willard, departed this life on the 20th
of January, at High River, Alberta.
Deceased was born in the townabip of
Colborne forty-four years ago. and
spent the greater part of her life in
her native township. Nme years ago
she was married to George Willard, of
Spokane, Washington. After a short
residence there they removed to High
River, Alberta. For the past year
ebe had suffered greatly from rheuma-
tism. She and her htutbend spent last
winter with friends in this neighbor-
hood, returning to High River In to
teeming. During the summer Mrs,
Willard underwent an operation for
appendicitis, from which she never
recovered The remains arrived here
on Saturday, the 27th ult., end were
conveyed to Colborne cemetery. Mrs.
Willard leaves ber aged mother, and
two sisters, Mrs. Graham. of Blyth,
and Miss Symington, of Colborne, and
one bretber, John, of Colborne.
