yesterday in the Baptist churcb by
Rev. W. Hamilton, of London. The
regular pastor, G. V. Collins, was ab-
sent ou his matrimonial tour, but is
expected home next week. The choir
rendered an excellent anthem, "His
Yoke Is Kerry." at the evening ear -
vice.
Miss Annie Clow is very seriously ill
at her home herr with blood poison-
ing. A few days ago she ran a sliver
in ber finger and picked it out with a
needle. She paid no attention to the
slight wound. And while doing some
of her house urn* it is believed got
borne stove blacking in it. The finger
swelled geese LI, soon afterwards, and
Miss Clow then consulted a physician.
She is progressing favorably at the
present time.

inson. eldest son of Mr. and Mrs.
Thomas Robinson, of the 9th conoes-
sioo. The young lad was in his four-
teenth year and had been in delicate
health tot nearly two year.. It was
thought, however, that be was lin-
proving until a few days prior to his
death. The bereaved family have the
tympaLhy of their many friends in
their affliction.

wedding took place on Wednesday
morning, September 27, at the beauti-
ful home of Mr. and Mrs. John Joynt
on Ross street, when their eldest daugh-
ter, Annie E., was united in mar-
riage to Rev. J. Wilbert Lillieo, of
Minneapolis, formerly of Toronto.
The house was beautifully decorated
with ferns, asters and chrysanthe-
mums. The bride entered the draw-
ing -room on the arm of her father to
the strains of Mendelssohn's wedding
march, played by Mrs. Robert John-
ston. Rev. Or. Warner, principal of
Alma Ladies' College. of which Miss
Joynt was s graduate, assisted by
Rev. 0. J. McKinley, officiated. Miss
ida Joyot attended her sister as maid
of honor, while Miss Letitia Joynt
acted as bridesmaid. Miss Lillian
Cummings and Mise Verna Joynt
carried the ring in a basket of sweet
psss and asters. The beat ma., was
Rev. F. G. Farrill, M.A., of Toronto
University. The bride wore a dainty
dress of duchess satin, the bodice and
skirt trimmed with pearl and point
Venice lace. The veil was of tulle
arranged in coronet fashion with pearl
wreath of lily of the valley and
maidenbair Leto, tied with cream
satin ribbon. The maid of honor and
the bridesmaid wore dresses of cream
silk eolienne. trimmed with pearls,
bebe Irish lace and cream satin folds,
and carried yellow chrysanthemums.
While the regi,ter was being signed
Miss Edith Freeman sang "Love's
Coronation." After the wedding de-
}e�eunner Mr. and Mrs. Lillico left for
Toronto. Det toil and points went, the
brides going -away gown being of
navy blue broadcloth with hat to
match. The bride wan the recipient
of A large number of beautiful and
useful presents, among which was a
cheque for a thousand dollars, the gift
of her father, and an upright concert
grand piano, the gift of the groom's
parents. The occasion was quite a
unique one in the history of both
families, it bring the twenty-ninth
eaniverlary of Mr. and Mrs. Joynt's
