were pleasure -seekers in hundreds
gathered from all points of the com-
sowe of them coining twenty -
flee miles. The weather wen, ideal,
and ever, body .sewed thoroughly to
enjoy the first day 01 the season at
the Point. Outside of the shooting
there was no program of sports. but
games of football and baseball ser r
pIiyed byteams chosen on the spot.
The Luckuow pipers' band was pres-
ent and discoursed the stirring airs of
Cnledatia, much to the delight of at
least ttut portion of the concourse
that could bosat of Scottish blood.

The rifle tournament broke the

time in succession - with a score of 008.
Colborne was next wit,, 500, and Dun-
gennoo's second teats came third.
