The trial of If Garnet Armstrong will be an interesting case to be heard at the June se.sione of the County Court. which open before Judge Doyle at the court house on Tuesday, June 13th. The trial of Mt. Armstrong. who is a druggist of Lucknow, charged with criminal negligence, was put off last fall on account of the ill- ness ..f an important witness in Tor- onto. Another witness was absent in California. but both of these will be on band whep the trial opens. It will be determined if the druggist is re- sponsible fur the mist rte of his clerk in filling a bottle labelled Rochelle salts with tartar Emetic, which was afterwards Fold to a customer. with fatal results. The other criminal case entered to be heard is that of indecent assault against Harvey Beattie, who was sent up for trial two weeks ago. So far three civil actions have been entered for trial at the same session of the Court. Harbor Notes. Walter Shannon and Alt:. Colborne have two handsome sailboat., twenty feet in length, under construction. While working on the construction work of the new dredge, W. Marlton had the misfortune to fall a few days ago and break a couple of ribs. The accident will lay him off work for some time. The schooner Isabella Sands is here this week with a load of railway ties for the West Shore Railway. They were brought here from Manitoulin i stand. The drilling apparatus commenced work in the harbor last week. The cement work on the workhouse of the Big Mill elevator will be com- pleted this week. The installation of the machioery in the elevator will be commenced at once and if sufficient workmen are obtained the work should be completed in about six peeks. A Portland Wedding.
